TRB has been closely monitoring the evolving situation related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. The health and safety of our volunteers, sponsors, meeting guests, staff, and the greater community are of utmost importance to us. In light of the current situation, we regret that the 2020 International Road weather and Winter Maintenance Conference & Peer Exchange cannot be held as scheduled.
We are planning to reschedule the conference as a virtual event either in the Fall of 2020, or the Spring of 2021. Details will be posted on the conference calendar, as soon as they are available.
All registration fees that have been collected will be refunded to the original method of payment.

The objectives of the 2020 International Road weather and Winter Maintenance Conference & Peer Exchange provide a forum for the exchange of information on the state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice in research and technology applications to Road Weather and Winter Maintenance Operations. The event will highlight National and international best practices. Conference attendees include winter maintenance and road weather practitioners, managers, planners, analysts, researchers, and those engaged in developing or supplying products and services to those industries. State DOT practitioners from all 50 states will be invited to showcase their approach to many different winter maintenance and road weather challenges. The conference themes include the Application of Emerging Technologies to Winter Maintenance and Road Weather, Performance Improvement of Winter Maintenance Organizations, and Resiliency to Extreme Weather Events and Weather Related Emergency Operations.
