SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Regan has been combining urban planning practices and a passion for all things aviation as a consultant and advisor for over 15 years. She helps lead Kimley-Horn’s national aviation system planning practice, serving as project manager, advisor, and/or subject matter expert on numerous statewide aviation system plans and aviation economic impact studies for the aviation divisions of nearly 20 state Departments of Transportation throughout her career. In addition to serving state DOTs, she also works one-on-one with airports to help achieve higher levels of airport land use compatibility through zoning and education. Her experience provides a national perspective of industry change and advancement, and the challenges that are being faced by airports and regulatory agencies. Regan is actively involved in aviation industry associations and has been a long-time participant in TRB and ACRP activities, including serving on TRB committees and as a panel member, principal investigator, and contributing author on several ACRP research projects. Additionally, she has mentored students and served as a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University’s Center for Aviation Studies. In December 2022, Regan was honored to be nominated and selected as one of Airport Business Magazine’s Top 40 under 40.
