SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Rick Lucas is a senior project manager and the National Planning Lead for McFarland Johnson’s airport planning group. He holds a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration, Airport Management and has 20 years of airport management, operations and planning experience. Rick’s work as an Airport Planner is enhanced by his experiences as a licensed private pilot and his work in airport operations at Daytona Beach International Airport. Since that time, he has worked at over 100 airports across 22 states ranging from Punxsutawney, PA to Boston Logan International Airport. His project experience primarily focuses on helping small and medium sized commercial service airports and state agency clients strategically plan future facility needs in the dynamic aviation environment. Recent examples include serving as Project Manager for master plans at St. George Regional, and Cape Cod Gateway Airports and system plan experience in Nebraska, Vermont, New York and Arkansas.
