PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Liza Josias leads Ecosystem Development and Stakeholder Engagement at Eve Air Mobility. She is working with customers, partners, and governments to prepare the integrated ecosystem that will enable safe, accessible and sustainable urban flights. A spin-off company from the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, Eve is developing an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL), urban air traffic management technology, and a suite of services to support eVTOL fleet operators.
Liza has over two decades of experience in integrating human factors considerations into the design of procedures and technologies that enable safe and seamless day-to-day air traffic management. Leveraging her experience working in Australia, Europe and the United States, Liza contributed to many of Eve’s Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) that were tailored for and tested with different international cities. These CONOPS examined the technological, infrastructural, and regulatory requirements that will be needed to launch and scale UAM safely while considering community needs.
