Sonjia Murray is a Managing Director with the Meehan Aviation Group and has over 25-years of experience in the aviation industry consulting to airports, airlines and aviation related clients that includes private industry, government organizations and tourism agencies. Sonjia advises on economic, strategic and business issues in aviation and performs extensive research and analysis around passenger demand and behavior, carrier strategy and commercial air service trends. She is a leading expert to airport’s in strategic business planning, air service development, market analysis, primary and secondary research, economic impact, community engagement and project management. Sonjia has worked with LAX and MIA for over 20 years in air service development issues, two of the leading airports in large multi-airport markets and understands the unique aviation dynamics of these regions. Sonjia has also worked on client projects in other mulit-airport regions like Boston, Washington, Chicago and San Francisco. Sonjia has worked extensively on airport and aviation-related projects worldwide on six continents and shares the benefits of her global perspective and project success with every new client undertaking. Sonjia has a BS in Economics and in Marketing from Babson College.
