Biography
Dr. Jing Xiong is a Senior Transport Specialist in the Global Unit of Transport Global Practice in the World Bank. In her previous role within the World Bank, she worked for the Eastern Africa region for three years and the Europe and Central Asia region for six years. Dr. Xiong brings extensive experience of lending operations, advisory and analytical work, trust fund management, business development, building and managing client relationships, and leading and coaching team members.

Dr. Xiong is an economist and an engineer. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, with a focus on transportation policy and economics. Prior to her graduate studies and prior to joining the World Bank, she worked in consulting companies to provide project management in Shanghai and to provide analytical support in formulating big business decisions in the US.
