John resides in Fairbanks, Alaska, has been a State of Alaska employee of >18 years and >33 years in Occupational Safety, Health, and Emergency Management. John is the Safety and Emergency Management Coordinator in the DOT Commissioner’s Office, DOT Liaison to the State Emergency Operations Center, DOT appointee to State Emergency Response Commission, FEMA ICS Instructor/Evaluator, Traffic Incident Management instructor, CPR Instructor Trainer, and other duties as excepted. John strives make a difference, appreciates great teamwork, and works hard to promote the efforts of others. John often quotes, “We have a choice, we can be part of the problem, or part of the solution…”, "...which do you choose?"
