Biography
As an experienced project manager and transportation data scientist, Dan understands the importance of a holistic approach to transportation planning, freight modeling, traffic forecasting, data integration, and geospatial analysis. He is recognized as the Global Principal for Data Insights and Predictive Analytics at Jacobs and a Subject Matter Expert in Freight Planning. His experience includes using a data-driven approach to identify opportunities and needs presented by the unprecedented global pandemic, estimating freight value on roadways for investment decision-making; providing recommendations for infrastructure prioritization; establishing frameworks for continuous statewide freight data collection; analyzing network commodity flows; developing GIS applications for supply chain modeling; and conducting multimodal transportation planning analysis, in the areas of safety, mobility, connectivity, and incorporation of emerging technologies.
