Presentation Description
EVTOL platform development presents a rare new opportunity for innovation in aerospace. It is neither a traditional aircraft, nor is it an automobile, but instead incorporates design philosophies from both worlds. In this paper we will talk about the design opportunities for the propulsion systems touching on the other systems in the average EVTOL design. Reduced price points, and dropping of some long-held aerospace requirements, opens up opportunities for the use of alternate materials and optimization of green designs.
