The presentation will discuss how LiDAR can unlock the value of AD Level 3 systems at a Global Scale. We will review the challenges to expand the Operational Design Domain of Automated Vehicles and how Valeo LiDAR has achieved several milestones to enable Level 3 systems.
Speaker Biography
Rafel Fors is LiDAR responsible in North America for Valeo, leading supplier in the field of Safety and Automated Driving, and market leader in automotive grade LiDAR sensors. Prior to this position, Rafel held several roles at LeddarTech and Samsung focused on Strategy, Innovation and Business Development in Asia and North America. He is currently in charge of Valeo LiDAR Product Group in North America, overseeing all local activities related to LiDAR, from Business Development to Project Operations. Rafel holds a MBA from IMD and Master’s degree from Universitat Ramon Llull.
