Speaker Biography
Hilary Cain is Vice President of Technology, Innovation, and Mobility Policy at the Alliance for Automotive Innovation. In this role, she oversees policy development on technology and future mobility, including regulation of automated and connected vehicles, data privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and telecommunications. In June of 2020, Hilary was recognized as a Rising Star in the automotive industry by Automotive News for her work at the forefront of emerging technology policy.
Prior to joining the Alliance of Automotive Innovation in April of 2020, Hilary spent nearly 8 years as Director of Technology and Innovation Policy at Toyota and almost a decade working in the U.S. House of Representatives. She holds a J.D. and a M.A. in Public Affairs from the University of Texas and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington.
