As head of Cruise's Washington, D.C. office, Eric leads the team responsible for developing and advocating Federal public policy priorities and representing the company to Congress, Federal regulators and the Executive Branch, as well as the larger D.C. policy community. He previously managed the company’s national public affairs team where he worked to build public support for the advancement of self-driving technology in cities and states around the country.
Prior to Cruise, Eric served as Vice President of Government Relations for Securing America's Future Energy (SAFE) and as Deputy Director of Policy & Government Affairs at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Eric has also managed front-line congressional campaigns, and worked in corporate public affairs at the firm Hill & Knowlton.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his Masters from the London School of Economics. A proud Chicagoan, Eric currently lives in Washington, DC.
