Speaker Biography
Kevin Stutenberg is the group manager of the Advanced Mobility Technology group in Argonne National Laboratory’s Transportation and Power Systems division. His team of 15 engineers and technicians executes experimental efforts for advancing mobility at the vehicle system and component level, focusing on energy use of conventional and electrified vehicles with varying levels of automation and connectivity.
Kevin received his M.S. in Data Analytics from the University of Chicago, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Supporting Argonne since 2011, Kevin’s current research focuses on advanced mobility experimentation with Anything-in-the-Loop (XIL) providing data-driven insights to promote improved vehicle efficiency.
Kevin has published more than 25 peer-reviewed technical papers, and promotes public access to vehicle test data through Argonne’s Downloadable Driving Database website. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the IEEE Vehicle Technology Society (VTS) of Chicago and is a longstanding member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
