Significant experience building consensus within a large matrixed organization on strategies to achieve critical organizational objectives.
Extensive track record fostering relationships, building diverse coalitions, an implementing strategies to establish and influence development of new programs and international treaties. Served as lead negotiator for the United States on several food safety and organic trade agreements; head of the US delegation to the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Vast experience collaborating to promote international trade, public health, and environmental goals, and finding solutions to trade issues involving diverse stakeholders with disparate interests.
