Speaker Biography
Sonika Sethi, M.S., AICP, PMP, brings nearly two decades of experience advising federal, state, and local clients on transportation infrastructure topics. At Leidos, she provides program management and technical leadership through call orders to multiple FHWA offices, including the Office of Operations, ITS-JPO, and the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory (STOL). She specializes in the areas of transportation revenue, funding and finance with a particular interest in emerging technologies that have the capacity to shape current and future operating policies and business models. In a prior role, Ms. Sethi supported state and local agencies, including transit operators in evaluating technical aspects of alternative transportation funding approaches; developing performance-based investment prioritization models; developing funding and financial plans for large, complex, infrastructure projects towards meeting federal and state requirements for funding sources like TIFIA, GARVEE and New Starts funding; and applying economic analysis methods (e.g. BCA and fiscal impacts analyses). Ms. Sethi has a Masters in Civil Engineering, Transportation Systems Analysis from Northwestern University and a Masters in Construction Management from University of Dundee, Scotland.
