Speaker Biography
Peter serves as General Counsel and SVP of Tech Policy for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. He oversees policy management and advocacy to ensure Silicon Valley’s innovation leadership in matters of autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, data privacy, international trade, antitrust and immigration.
Peter began his career in intellectual property litigation and held leadership legal roles at a financial firm. Prior to his corporate experience, Peter served as a Deputy District Attorney for over five years, where he prosecuted narcotics crimes, violent offenses, and financial crimes.
Peter is bilingual in English and Spanish. He is considered a thought leader for innovation topics and is often quoted in a variety of publications including Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, China Global Television Network, The SF Chronicle, and San Jose Mercury, among others.
