Bio: Kelly Karll is Manager of Environment and Infrastructure programs and a certified professional engineer with the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments. She has over 26 years of experience in municipal engineering, regulatory programs, consulting and regional planning. She led the development of the Water Resources Plan for Southeast Michigan and is currently leading the region’s water asset management and infrastructure coordination activities. In 2017, she was Michigan Water Environment Association’s Watershed Management Professional of the Year. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering and her Master’s in Environmental Engineering, both from Michigan State University. She currently lives on a small farm raising chickens and enjoys teaching environmental science to local school groups.
