Bio: Ister P. Morales, PE, serves as a Project Manager on Gannett Fleming’s Management Consulting Business Line. Ister supports public sector clients in the area of transportation infrastructure, servicing providers to improve mobility, reliability, safety, and security. Ister has experience in performing business analysis, process improvements, maintenance management, and is specifically experienced in transportation engineering. Since joining Gannett Fleming, Ister has led efforts working with Arizona Department of Transportation and New Jersey Department of Transportation to address extreme weather events and integrate resilience efforts into their asset management programs through their participation in FHWA’s 2017-2019 Pilot Program.
Ister is a member of the TRB Subcommittee on Operations Resilience, and a friend of the TRB Standing Committee on Transportation Asset Management, TRB Standing Committee on Regional Transportation Systems Management and Operations, and the TRB Special Trask Force on Climate Change and Energy. She holds a BS in Civil, Infrastructure, and Environmental Engineering and a MA in Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics from George Mason University.
