Bio: I am currently working as an engineering geologist in the Norwegian Publics Road Administration (NPRA). I studied geotechnology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, with Engineering- and Environmental Geology as main profile. After finishing my master thesis in 2015, on testing different run-out models to Norwegian debris flows, I started my job in the geotechnical section in the Directorate of the NPRA. My primary responsibilities are climate adaptation and managing natural hazards on the road network, that involves being a part of the national early warning service (Landslide and debris flow forecaster and Snow avalanche observer), as well as development of different parts of the preparedness system in the NPRA. After this conference I am doing a secondee at WSDOT for 10 weeks, mainly following the avalanche crew working on the mountain passes, but also to get some experience on how they work on climate adaptation.
