Bio: Becky Lupes is a member of the U.S. Federal Highway Administration’s Sustainable Transportation and Resilience Team where she works on addressing resilience throughout the transportation decision-making process. She helps oversee a pilot program in which transportation agencies assess and address the climate and extreme weather resilience of their transportation infrastructure, and she led development of FHWA’s Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Framework. Becky has been with the agency since 2001. She has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and a Masters in Resource Economics and Policy from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.
