Bio: Scott Middleton is a planner and economist at Economic Development Research Group in Boston, MA. Scott’s research work focuses on the economic impacts of transportation plans and programs, including new mobility programs and state resilience plans. Before coming to EDR Group, Scott was a community planner at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Research Center in Cambridge, MA, where he helped write the U.S. DOT’s comprehensive 30-year plan Beyond Traffic 2045. Scott has a Master in City Planning and an M.S. in Transportation from MIT, where he wrote his thesis on the topic of discrimination in shared mobility.
