Bio: Mike was appointed to the position of Assistant Commissioner in 2017 and is responsible for managing the Divisions of Statewide Planning, Multimodal Services, Local Aid and Economic Development and Environmental Resources.
Mike has served in a variety of capacities throughout his 36 year career with the Department. Most recently he was the Director of Local Aid and Economic Development overseeing five Local Aid offices statewide that are responsible for the Department’s $530 million annual Local Aid program. Prior to that Mike has held positions in Project Management, Project Planning and Development, and Roadway Design.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami.
