Speaker Biography
Justin John works in the Office of Research, Demonstration, and Innovation at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). In this role, Mr. John provides project management support under various FTA research programs, including the Strategic Transit Automation Research program and multiple Mobility Innovation programs. He also oversees the independent evaluation of several FTA research projects as required by federal public transportation law.
Prior to working in FTA’s research office, Mr. John worked with FTA’s Office of Budget and Policy assisting with surface transportation reauthorization analysis and the U.S. Transportation Secretary’s office assisting with pedestrian and bicycle research.
Mr. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Temple University and Master of Arts in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics from George Mason University.
