Speaker Biography

Daniela Bremmer, Chief Innovation Officer, Washington State Department of Transportation, Cooperative Automated Transportation (CAT) Program. She is an experienced tactical and strategic leader who has bridged traditional silos, disciplines and modes to create non-traditional, innovative and successful programs and partnerships. Her diverse knowledge of transportation systems, modes and agency programs, coupled with her multi-disciplinary background and national leadership roles helps her to operationalize WSDOT’s vision for automation and technology applications while negotiating the realities of public sector policies and budgets. Daniela aims to enable a future where automated, connected, electrified, and shared mobility contributes toward a safer, more equitable and more efficient transportation system in Washington State and nationally.
