Presentation Description
The presentation describes how ODD definition is to be used for V&V during development and certification phases. It presents how ODD taxonomy from ISO 34503 can be modeled using ASAM OpenSCENARIO(r) DSL, and ODDs can be modeled. Once Modeled, ODDs can be introduced into scenario code, and serve as cheekers, kpi and coverage monitors.

Gil Amid is Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer, VP Operations and Co-Founder of Foretellix Ltd.
Foretellix Ltd is the leading provider of verification and Validation solutions for of Automated Driving Systems.
Gil is a former Vice President of Intel Corporation. Gil has over 35 years of experience in the verification world, from system level H/W and S/W verification, to VLSI/microprocessors validation and verification. Gil is serving as Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer at Foretellix, which he also co-founded. Foretellix is developing a Scenario Based Safety Driven Verification and Validation Environment for ADS (Automated Driving Systems). As part of his role he is actively involved in various autonomous vehicles safety standardization and regulation setting activities. He is the standardization project leader for OpenSCENARIO DSL 2.x with ASAM, where he is also a member of ASAM’s technical steering committee and an active contributor to ASAM OpenODD standardization project. As a special advisor to SAFE (Secure America Future Energy) AV initiative, he represents SAFE in the UNECE/GRVA and its sub work groups. He is c a contributing member and reviewer of various standardization groups such as ISO 21448/SOTIF, ISO 3450{1,2,3,4}/Test Scenarios standards, SAE On Road Automated Driving (ORAD) task forces, IEEE 2846, UL4600 and more.
