Speaker Biography
Xavier DELACHE is head of department for digital transition at the directorate for road mobility in the French Ministry for ecology and transport. He is in charge of the national strategy of automated and connected driving. He has been leading the elaboration of the french regulatory framework on automation, which, from 2022 on, enables the deployment of fully automated services in France. He coordinates the production of safety demonstration guidelines accompanying this regulation. With an ingeneer background, he has served in various positions in the national civil service in France, including within the Treasury, the telecommunication regulatory authority, the ministry for transport.
