Speaker Biography
Mufaddal Ezzy is Senior Director of Public Affairs and State & Local Government Relations at Aurora, a technology company working to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly and broadly. In this capacity, Mufaddal leads a team of professionals advancing Aurora’s government relations and public policy initiatives across the United States. Prior to Aurora, Mufaddal was Head of Public Policy for Western US States at Waymo and served as Google’s California Government Relations lead for six years, where he was deeply involved in formative policy work surrounding Google’s then-Self Driving Car Project. Before Google, Mufaddal served as policy staff in the California State Senate for nearly a decade in a variety of committee and leadership staff roles.
