Biography
Ryan is a leader in designing and implementing enterprise-wide sustainability programs for public transportation agencies for over a decade. In his role at the Maryland Transit Administration, he has also conceived and managed the Sustainable Transportation Investment Index Mapping (STIIM) Tool's development. Ryan's multidisciplinary background aids his ability to identify, assess, and offer solutions to complex organizational challenges while engaging multiple stakeholders. His unique analytical background includes sustainability and resilience; asset, program, and performance management; environmental and transportation law and public policy, and a decade of lab bench chemistry research. Ryan is a Baltimorean who hails from New Hampshire and has received a bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and two master's degrees from Johns Hopkins University.
