Biography
Roy Nunnally is a lifetime learner who enjoys learning from others. Although receiving his BS in Planning & Economic Development from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, he credits diverse exposure and opportunities for his professional success. With over 24-years of transportation industry experience, 20-years in progressive leadership positions, he’s learned the importance of transportation equity. “We must understand the barriers and burdens placed on communities and address them in our approach, practice, and decision-making”. As the Director of Transportation Planning at the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), he oversees the agency comprehensive planning documents, statewide-level studies, and facilitates early stakeholder and public outreach activities. He has a direct opportunity to make a difference!
