Biography
Md. Musfiqur Rahman Bhuiya is a graduate student researcher in the Transportation Technology and Policy program at the University of California, Davis, Institute of Transportation Studies. His research has focused on the travel behavior of people with disabilities in Bangladesh, including in the contexts of regular travel as well as evacuations from natural disasters, the travel behavior of people with disabilities in the US, and priority-setting & decision-making processes for transportation policymakers in developing countries. His work has also shed light on how personal experiences with road collisions can affect such individuals' travel behavior in the long-term. He is advised by Prof. Jesus M. Barajas, who is affiliated with the University of California, Davis, Institute of Transportation Studies.
