Speaker Biography
With a diverse 7+ year background in business research, urban transportation, and strategic development, it won’t be far-fetched to say that I’ve dedicated a better part of my career to leading meaningful advancements within the urban mobility sphere.
Through my roles in business research, strategy consultancy, and data analytics, complemented by my diverse academic research, I bring to the table deep insights and understanding of transportation challenges. My published works, especially on fare evasion dynamics and female travel patterns, chiefly highlight my commitment and dedication to driving improvements in this important sector.
In my current capacity as a business researcher and discovery developer at Güil Mobility Ventures, I delve deep into urban transport markets, translating complex data into actionable strategies. My involvement in project management and startup management has fortified my skills in bringing sustainable mobility visions to life.
But where this role delves into transportation markets, my previous associations with the Transport and Telecommunications Ministry of Chile and Subus enriched my expertise in urban transport system design, bus systems, business operations, private operator tenders, and sustainable urban planning. These past experiences, coupled with my ongoing master's research in Transport Economics, have fortified my overall industry knowledge.
Apart from career advancement, I aim to leverage strategic innovation and urban development knowledge for tangible societal benefits, especially in the social, political, and gender contexts.
Sufficient to say, my rich academic foundation and diverse professional experiences equip me to seamlessly coalesce research, strategy, and implementation when it comes to urban transportation, mobility, and development projects. And I'm always eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals committed to driving positive urban transformations.
