Speaker Biography
Nicole Anderson is a program analyst at the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. She has worked for the agency for five years. She earned her master’s in civil engineering and bachelor's in environmental engineering at Florida International University. Currently, Nicole is a Ph.D. candidate at Morgan State University in the Transportation and Urban Infrastructure Studies program. Her research interests focus on lithium battery and electric vehicle projects, transportation of liquified natural gas, and other miscellaneous hazardous material applications. Nicole serves on the White House Taskforce for Hydrogen Projects, Team Lead for the Department of Transportation's Interagency Lithium Battery Working Group, Secretary of Morgan State’s Institute of Transportation Engineers, a student representative for the Center for Climate-Smart Transportation (CST), and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated.
