Speaker Biography
Sharmin Nasrin, Ph.D. is working as a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Transportation Science at the University of Arizona and as an Academic Associate at the School of Sustainable Engineering and Built Environment at the Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, USA. With a diverse background in academia and professional practice, Dr. Nasrin has made significant contributions to the field of transportation, mainly focusing on travel behavior, transport planning, and transport modeling. Before her current role, Dr. Nasrin held the position of Associate Professor at various universities in Bangladesh. Her professional experience also includes working as a Transport Modeler at the Department of Main Roads and Transport, Queensland, Australia.
