AC Material Processing
Description
To perform Additive Construction (AC) with indigenous materials material processing is required. The ACME Tech team is performing research and development to understand the equipment required and time needed to process materials to be used in AC mixtures. The team tested several skid loader sized attachments to process materials in austere environments. The ACME Tech (Additive Construction of Maneuver Enabling Technology) is a research program funded by the United States Army Corps of Engineers – Engineering Research and Development Center (USACE ERDC) with a goal to advance AC technology.
