Speaker Biography

Xiaopeng Li, PhD., is a Senior Research Engineer at GE Vernova Advanced Research Center. Prior to his current role, he served as a technical leader at GE Renewable, where he focused on developing 3D concrete printing technology for wind turbine towers. Xiaopeng earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, under the guidance of Dr. Mo Li, who is also presenting at this meeting. With several years of industry research experience, Xiaopeng has specialized in advanced manufacturing of concrete and metal, manufacturing process simulation and optimization, and structural design and analysis. Currently, he is leading and supporting multiple industry and government-funded projects. To date, Xiaopeng has five granted patents in his field.
