Lead Presenter Biography
Jonathan French, PE, is a cofounder and current president of Build The Era LLC, a volunteer-powered transportation education and advocacy organization. He is also the author of the first children’s book about roundabouts, Ronda Loves Roundabouts. Jonathan has more than 15 years of experience in roundabout design, guidance and policy and has served at the Maine Department of Transportation for over 24 years. Throughout his career, he has been devoted to improving highway safety, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness through innovation. Jonathan is also a member of ITE and is co-secretary of the ITE Roundabout Committee.
