Lead Presenter Biography
Cameron Humphrey currently serves as the Director for Maritime, Shipbuilding, and Industrial Capacity within the National Security Council (NSC) in the Executive Office of the President. In this role, he helps implement and coordinate policy across the federal government focused on the reindustrialization of the maritime industry.
Prior to joining the NSC, Cameron served as a Professional Staff Member on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure in the U.S. House of Representatives where he managed a policy portfolio authorizing programs of the United States Coast Guard, Maritime Administration, and Federal Maritime Commission. His other previous roles also include serving as the Director of Government Affairs for the Maritime Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation as well as a Legislative Assistant for the late Congressman Don Young of Alaska where he handled the transportation, labor, and energy policy portfolios.
Cameron is originally from Hollidaysburg, PA and holds a BA in International Economics from the George Washington University and a MA in Public Management from the Johns Hopkins University. He currently resides in Washington, DC with his wife, Reva.
