Lead Presenter Biography
Chad is an independent maritime professional with over 30 years of experience spanning commercial shipping, offshore energy, regulatory affairs, and humanitarian operations. In 2023, he founded Chaos Ready Inc., a non-profit dedicated to fostering a better understanding of the industry’s hidden talents by recognizing its overlooked humanitarian capabilities.

As a Senior Consultant and subject matter expert with Core Group Consulting, Chad works internationally serving across all facets of the greater marine industry. He maintains his USCG Chief Engineer’s license and continues his professional development in maritime and emergency management. He is also a Fellow with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology, and a DHS appointed member of the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee.

Outside of industry events, you might literally run into him in the mosh pit at a punk show or volunteering at festivals and venues behind the booth for Punk Rock Saves Lives, a national organization that promotes awareness and action on health, equal rights, and human rights.
