Bio: Xinyi Wang is currently a PhD student at Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interests include travel behavior, survey methods, and machine learning. She recently became interested in the influence of gender roles on individuals’ travel patterns and choices, and hopes to bring novel analytic approaches and methods to the study of gender differences in transportation. Before joining Georgia Tech, Xinyi received her Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University in Nanjing, China.
