Presenter: Ines Kawgan-Kagan
Bio: Ines Kawgan-Kagan is an expert in mobility research focusing on innovative and sustainable urban mobility solutions. Her focus is on empirical and strategic work from the user's perspective with a large repertoire of methods - both quantitative and qualitative. She has acquired her knowledge of participative approaches in projects at TU-Berlin and the German Institute of Aerospace. She worked in the project for the implementation of a combined charging infrastructure in Berlin and investigated the acceptance of automated driving of different user groups and an on-demand bus system. Her strong analytical social science background enables her to identify and implement people's needs and requirements for new forms of mobility. Ines has a Master in Sociology, a Diploma in Public Administration; she also studied Basic Business Studies in Sweden and is in the final phase of her PhD thesis in Transport Planning at the Technical University of Berlin. In addition, she has been involved since 2015 in the European Transport Conference and is the chair of the Young Researchers' and Practitioners' Forum.
