Presenter: Vered Uziel
Bio: Vered Uziel is a Phd Candidate in the Department of Public Policy and Administration, Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. For her master's research, entitled "The Impact of Public Transportation on Gender Equality in the Municipal Space", she worked side by side with municipal and government agencies and the relevant personnel responsible for public transport services. In the proposed work, her research will focus on public transportation, gender and digital technology in the municipal space. During her bachelor and graduate studies, she worked as a research and teaching assistant in communication and political science courses. She was also a co-author of research on media uses in emergencies: "Live, visual, social, and mobile: media ecology in emergencies and ordinary times" 2018 (with Azi Lev-On). In addition to her academic experience at BGU, she has lectured in communications and marketing courses and she also served as a media consultant and PR manager for organizations.
