Bio: Miwa Matsuo is an associate professor at Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration, Kobe University. She specializes in urban and transportation policy, with particular focus on gender and immigrants in travel behavior, socioeconomic and inter-generational consequences of mobility, and socioeconomic impacts of transportation services. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees from University of Tokyo, and Master in Design Studies and Doctor of Design degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
