Bio: Laurel Johnson is an urban, regional and social planner with over 30 years’ experience in the public, private and academic sectors in many Australian cities. She is a full-time tenured academic in the University of Queensland’s urban planning program. Laurel designs and delivers innovative planning education for the next generation of town planners and undertakes urban research in the areas of transport disadvantage and social justice in cities.
