Bio: Danyell Diggs is a Senior Transportation Program Analyst with the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Office of Research, Demonstration and Innovation. Mrs. Diggs is the co-manager for the FTA Transit Automation Research Program and oversees several transit automation research tasks and activities. She manages Mobility on Demand (MOD) Sandbox Demonstration projects under the MOD Program. Mrs. Diggs also serves as the project manager for the Intelligent Transportation Systems of America cooperative agreement, with a focus on MOD research, education and outreach activities.
Prior to joining FTA, Mrs. Diggs served as the Deputy Director for Office of Planning and Programming at Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and has worked in various levels of government, which include Federal Highway Administration, Maryland Department of Transportation (DOT), and Baltimore City DOT.
Mrs. Diggs holds a Master’s degree in Transportation Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics.
