Presenter: Jasmy A. Methipara
Bio: Jasmy Methipara serves as a Research Analyst in the Federal Highway Administration’s Office of Transportation Policy Studies. She is leading research efforts that utilize data in innovative ways to identify and analyze transportation policy issues. In conjunction with the Office of the Secretary’s Safety Data Initiative, she is examining safety concerns in rural areas and has also tied USDOT data to other federal data sources in an effort to develop best estimates for high priority Information needs in transportation policy. Through policy research and data analysis, she has led studies examining US mobility and accessibility needs. Prior to joining FHWA, she worked on the development of the 2017 National Household Travel Survey.
