As Principal Product Manager for Micro Simulation Mobility at PTV Group, Dr. Jochen Lohmiller is responsible for PTV’s product portfolio in the context of simulation, specifically the traffic flow simulation tool PTV Vissim and the pedestrian simulation software PTV Viswalk. With his active participation in research projects, methodical development is one focus area. Dr. Jochen Lohmiller works since 2014 at PTV Group. Before, he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and later earned his Dr. in the area of traffic engineering.

Tamara Djukic

Dr. Tamara Djukic is a Research Project Manager at Aimsun. She holds a PhD in Transport Systems from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands and a Master in Transport and Traffic Engineering, from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. In 2015, Tamara joined Aimsun to lead R&D projects and design the innovation roadmap for Aimsun Next and Aimsun Live. Tamara overseas Aimsun’s role in EU and non-EU co-financed projects, including the EIT Urban mobility platform to make urban spaces more liveable through positive change in urban mobility. She has 14 years of experience in many multi-disciplinary research projects in Europe dedicated to innovative transport planning and management solutions, including the latest: C-Roads Spain, SAFE-UP, MOMENTUM and HARMONY projects on modelling and simulation of CAVs in constantly evolving road environment and impact prediction of future mobility scenarios.

Daniel Morgan is the Vice President of Traffic Simulation at Caliper Corporation. He has 18 years’ experience in transportation both as a developer of traffic simulation software and as practitioner of traffic simulation modeling. Dan has been the product manager for TransModeler, Caliper’s traffic simulation software, since the software’s release, has overseen the software’s training and technical support services, and has been project manager for pioneering transportation studies involving the development, calibration, and application of wide-area microsimulation and dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) models for clients across the US.

Michael Mahut

Dr. Mahut has 20 years of experience in traffic simulation and dynamic traffic assignment, including innovative research, product development and model applications. He leads the research program at INRO on traffic simulation and DTA and is an active member of the research community. He is a member of TRB standing committee on Traffic Simulation, and is a co-author of the DTA Primer developed by the TRB Network Modeling Committee.
