Session Description
The transit industry continues to pursue projects involving joint development with the private sector, often involving issuance of requests for private sector proposals to develop transit agency property and requiring the private sector to construct public improvements as part of the project. An experienced panel of transit experts will examine multiple projects to highlight best practices, lessons learned and the latest trends. The panel will provide practical guidance on legal issues affecting procurements and contracts, structuring transactions, managing proposals, and developing joint development processes and policies.
