Session Description
As AVs and other emerging transportation technologies are deployed, how should equity be considered in deciding which communities to serve and how? This session will provide an overview of principles for equity in process, design, and priorities. With a panel of leaders on equity in the AV industry, urban planning for diverse communities, access for people with disabilities, federal regulation, and community engagement and social justice, this session promises an engaging discussion.
