SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Alan Iny focuses his working life on creativity in the business world. He has trained thousands of executives and BCG consultants on how to think creatively, and regularly runs a range of trainings and workshops across industries and worldwide. He is a member of BCG's Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice management team, with experience advising companies in innovation, scenarios, transformation, and change management.
Among his recent engagements are four scenarios projects for the WEF, workshops for Executive Teams to develop creative views of the future, live development of scenarios for the future of mobility, cyberattacks and iron, among dozens of others, and strategic visioning exercises for organizations ranging from cement to oncology to the public sector.
In 2013, Alan launched Thinking in New Boxes: A New Paradigm for Business Creativity, written with Luc de Brabandere and published by Random House. Now available in twelve languages, it is "a must-read for anyone in a leadership position who dares to look at the world in new ways", according to Publishers Weekly. His speaking engagements include a recent TED talk and his writing has appeared in various academic journals.
