PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Patrick Zhang currently serves as a Transportation Specialist in the Office of Highway Policy Information, Federal Highway Administration. He serves as a research manager leading innovative data collection methods and data processing techniques projects; he serves as a POC for traffic data, including volume and class data nationwide, and assists state transportation agencies with their traffic data programs. In addition, Patrick oversees the development of the Traffic Management Analysis System (TMAS) and produces monthly, and weekly Travel Volume Trend reports. He is also responsible for NextGen NHTS Origin-Destination Data Components.
Before joining the FHWA, Patrick worked as an engineer in the consulting industry and government agencies. He is a registered engineer in the state of Georgia.
